What Kind of Art Do You Do? And Why?

The reason why I am doing photography is to face the reality of what’s going on in the world. I think that there are always two sides to everything, and you don’t wanna just look at one side to make a particular decision so ultimately I felt that I wanna look at things more objectively with a flexible mindset by doing photography.

What Does Your Artwork Represent?

I feel that if you know what you wanna tell through your art, drawing or painting or those kinds of art formats are the best option for that. I used to draw before, by the way. In photography, things do not always turn out the way we think they will. For example, in soccer, there is the joy of using only your feet to make a pass or shoot, and in the same way, we can feel a sense of freeness in the inconvenience. This is the basis of the hypothesis behind the creation of this work.

What Does “Art” mean to you?

For me, art is the exploration of possibilities. A photo is an expression of the past because it becomes the past at the moment it is taken, but I make art (not art in the broad sense, but contemporary art) to pursue the possibility of projecting the future.

Why Did You Join the Project?

I definitely feel that things that can be done by one person are totally different from things that can be done by a team. It has the potential that can take you to places that you never thought you could be. That’s the reason why I joined!
